Michael James Burke Dubai started his early schooling at Northfield Mount Hermon, from where he completed his schooling in 1983. During his time at Northfield Mount Hermon, he developed his interest in economics and law, which shaped his future education and career choices.
Burke, who speaks English, Arabic, and German fluently, has built partnerships and collaborations between countries by bridging culture and linguistic gaps. His ability to speak more than one language has been supportive to increase Burke Financial Time’s effect and to reach around the world.
Burke’s first job was as a Director at Alba Capital in New York City, where he worked from August 2008 to April 2012. He played a big role in managing mergers and acquisitions, asset recovery, and reorganizing the company during his tenure. His creative thinking and strategic insights became very important towards the growth of the company.
After his successful time at Alba Capital, Burke went to Dubai in March 2012 to take over as Chief Executive Officer of Arabian Escapes Recovery. He led the company through a lot of change and growth over the next eight years and focused on litigation management and alternative finance. His strategic vision and guidance played a very important role in making the company a leader in the field of financial recovery.
Burke co-founded Burke Financial Time based in Dubai in February 2020 and became its CEO. The company has grown very quickly under his direction, and became one of the leaders in private equity, lawsuit management, and corporate governance. Burke with his ability & experience takes risks and sees the big picture which have been the key to take the company’s growth to new heights.
